Swing-away side supports
An optimum support for the upper body. The swing away side supports are very flexable making it possible to position the child correctly. A good position with sufficient support and yet lots of freedom of ­movement. The swing away side supports are designed to fit most R82 seating products and can be used on other products as well.
R82 offers a wide range of variants in swing away side supports - all constructed with a fitting, a bar and a pad. The product at use will determine the choice of fittings. Likewise the bar and the pad are selected to compliment the size and need of the user. It is recommended to mount the side supports with snaplocks, which make it easy to adjust the height and width without any use of tools.

R82 has developed a broad line of vests and belts to compliment seating and positioning systems. It increases safety and ensures a correct sitting position. These products take advantage of R82’s years of manufacturing expertise and are designed with soft, yet strong materials.
They are quick to remove or install and easy to adjust. A wide ­selection ensures correct support for all users. The vests and belts are designed to fit any R82 seating ­products and can be used on other products too.
All the vests and upholstered belts are made of breathable fabrics, which make it comfortable to wear. They can be washed up to 40°C. Mounting of the vest and belts can be done with the enclosed buckles or fastened on the outside of the chair. The vest and belts must be adjusted to fit the user, depending on how much clothing the user is wearing.

The cushion system is designed to be an “off-the-shelf” solution for the therapist to be able to achieve the perfect sitting position from an in-expensive seating product combined with the comfort and support you would expect from R82. The cushions can be shaped to suit even the most extreme postural needs of the clients.
The back and seat cushions are supplied separately and can be moulded to fit almost any user. The cushions can be used in all R82 chairs, and are easy to fit others as well.
The flexible cover ensures the final finish with no uncomfortable seams or stitching lines. The cover is breathable for comfort and water-repellent to aid cleaning which effectively completes the package.
